Asad Abdullah, who hails from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, has built a seven-seater vehicle, powered by sunlight, using scrap materials. It is reported to travel over 200 kilometres, running on solar energy as long as it is exposed to the sun. The total cost of building the vehicle is said to be between ₹8,000 and ₹10,000.
