Pune group sends homemade Diwali snacks to border troops

Anamprem, a citizens' group from Pune and Mumbai, dispatched homemade Diwali faral, chivda, chakli, ladoo and shankarpali, to soldiers in Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and other border regions. The boxes also included handwritten greeting cards from children. The group has carried out this initiative for nearly 20 years.
