Netflix said it mistakenly launched a set of guidelines for cracking down on password sharing to global users. The guidelines require users to set up a primary location and launch the app at that location at least once every 31 days. The rules are only applicable to Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, where it's trialling a "paid sharing" service, Netflix said.
