Joe Root creates history, breaks record for hitting most fifties in Test cricket

England captain Joe Root has created history by hitting the most fifties in Test cricket. Root hit his 69th fifty in Test cricket in the second innings of the third Test against Pakistan. He overtook Sachin Tendulkar, who had hit 68 fifties. Root has also hit 41 hundreds in his Test career, while Sachin has registered 51 hundreds.
