Many bullet shells of different bores were recovered from the site where the firing took place, Sambhal police said. This comes as four people died in a clash between police and a mob opposing a court-ordered survey of Shahi Jama Masjid. Earlier, the police had rejected claims made by some videos, which suggested that police fired gunshots during the clash.
