130-million-year-old giant dinosaur footprints found in Australia

Scientists have uncovered Australia’s largest dinosaur footprint site on Dampier Peninsula, with tracks up to 1.75 metres long dating back 130 million years. Preserved in Broome Sandstone, the discovery reveals diverse dinosaurs, including Australia’s first confirmed stegosaur tracks. Until now, no skeletal remains had proven their presence on the continent.
