Private jet carrying a prominent figure crashes in Libya

A private jet owned by Turkish billionaire Hamdi Akin has crashed at runway of Libya's Misrata Airport during emergency landing, reported Al Arabiya. The plane is believed to be carrying a prominent figure, whose identity hasn't been revealed, and three crew members. The plane caught fire after the crash, prompting the authorities to shut the airport.
