India hosts the 18th BRICS Summit on September 12-13 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Member nations meet on Day 1; partner and invitee countries on Day 2. Over 1,200 journalists are expected at the International Media Centre. Delhi declared September 11 a holiday to manage large delegations during the weekend summit.
