A satirical political outfit, Cockroach Janta Party, has been launched, and it has listed five "dreams" on its website. CJP describes itself as "secular, socialist, democratic and lazy". The party was launched after CJI Surya Kant likened those entering the legal profession with bogus degrees to cockroaches and parasites. In an X post, CJP welcomed TMC MP Kirti Azad.
