Police to question Google as 5 lakh Gmail IDs used for bomb threats
Indian police will question Google over an email network in Gujarat that used over 5 lakh fake Gmail accounts to send "inter-state" bomb threats. The network was also involved in a threat sent to Gujarat ahead of the BRICS Summit. This follows an order directing Google to remove several websites hosted on Firebase platform that were linked to banking fraud.
