Poor sleep in one partner can affect both partners’ diets: Study

A new Concordia-led study of cohabiting couples found poor sleep in one partner may affect both partners' diets. A partner's poorer sleep was linked to less effort and confidence in eating healthily in the other person. Researchers suggested a tired partner may bring more calorie-dense foods such as chips, chocolate and sweets into the household and influence shared household choices.
