The local weather office said that Himachal Pradesh saw the third driest November since 1901 as it received just 0.2 mm of rainfall when getting 19.7 mm is considered normal. This is a 99% deficit in rainfall for November. Except for Lahaul and Spiti, the deficit was 100% in 11 out of the 12 districts.
