A newly constructed 100-metre cement concrete road in Madhya Pradesh has sparked outrage after authorities left an electricity pole in the middle of the road. Built at an estimated cost of ₹2.92 lakh, the road has raised safety concerns. Following public backlash, Maihar District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shailendra Singh said an investigation would be conducted into the matter.
