5 of top 10 firms lose ₹1 lakh cr in market value in one week

Five of India's 10 most valuable companies lost nearly ₹1 lakh crore in market value last week as domestic equities remained under pressure. TCS suffered the steepest decline, followed by Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India. Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, LIC and Hindustan Unilever collectively added ₹55,149.45 crore.
