Forbes content chief fired over ₹57-crore 'gift' from a company's founder

Forbes' Chief Content Officer Randall Lane was fired after the publication discovered that he'd received $6 million (₹57 crore) from RJ Shook, whose company Shook Research has partnered with Forbes since 2016. Shook made the payment after he sold a majority stake in his company. It isn't clear why Shook paid Lane, but the latter called the payment a "gift".
