Paytm Payments Bank is likely to apply to the RBI for a small finance bank (SFB) licence by June, Moneycontrol reported citing sources. "I think (the application for SFB licence will be moved) sometime around May-June next fiscal year," a source was quoted as saying. The bank had received a Scheduled Bank status from RBI last year.
