Pilot of Air India plane that dropped 300 ft tests +ve for psychoactive substance: Report

The pilot-in-command of the Phuket-Delhi Air India flight, which suddenly dipped 300 feet over Odisha in August, tested positive for a psychoactive substance, a preliminary report stated. The report said that confirmation of the use of psychoactive substances is a serious concern, and the AAIB recommends appropriate actions by the DGCA on priority. The incident had left several passengers injured.
