Shares of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway have compounded at roughly 19.8% to 19.9% annually since he took control of the firm in 1965. In comparison, the S&P 500 has given 10.4% returns, including dividends, NDTV Profit reported. A $1,000 investment in Berkshire in 1965 would be worth over $55 million by the mid-2020s, compared to roughly $390,000 for the index.
