World's highest-paid leader Singapore PM Wong's salary hiked by 64% to ₹26.9 crore

Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, the world's highest-paid political leader, will see his annual pay rise by 64% from October 15. His salary will rise from S$2.2 million (₹16.4 crore) to S$3.6 million (₹26.9 crore) from October 15 under a revised salary framework. Wong said he will donate the entire increase to charity for five years.
