Indian-origin astronaut Anil Menon began his first-ever spacewalk along with astronaut Jessica Meir on Thursday. The spacewalk will last for around seven hours and will involve the astronauts building a modification kit for the International Space Station. NASA revealed that roll-out solar arrays will be installed on the modification kits later this year to upgrade the station's power system.
