A 37-year-old man from Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore arrived at a family court with ₹80,000 in coins after he was ordered to pay an interim alimony of ₹2 lakh to his estranged wife. However, a judge directed him to submit the amount in currency notes instead. A video purportedly showing him carrying bags of coins out of the court has surfaced.
