Australia's competition watchdog has sued Amazon's local unit, alleging violations of product safety labelling laws related to children's backpacks. The watchdog said the "Unicorn Toddler Backpack" failed to meet mandatory button battery safety standards. According to the ACCC, the products were stored in Amazon fulfilment centres without the required warning labels on the backpack or packaging.
