India's 18-year-old Grandmaster Gukesh D and reigning world champion Ding Liren of China played out the fifth consecutive draw at the World Chess Championship. Ding and Gukesh are now levelled at 4-4 after Game 8. Notably, the player who will reach 7.5 points first will be declared winner of the championship.
