CBI on Friday arrested a senior manager of corporate communications at NTPC for allegedly taking a bribe of ₹8 lakh to clear bill of an advertising company. A complaint against Vijay Kumar was registered by the company's vice president, following which CBI laid a trap. Kumar was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe from the complainant in Mumbai, CBI said.
