Tennis legend Martina Navratilova criticised the scheduling at the US Open 2026 as the quarter-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Ben Shelton started at 11:05 pm on Tuesday. "This isn't ok, and it's not normal...No other sport might start at 11 am or 11 pm. In the same event," she wrote on X. The match ended around 3:30 am on Wednesday.
