Pierre Gasly secures his 1st-ever F1 pole position at Italian GP

Alpine's Pierre Gasly secured his first-ever F1 pole position at the Italian Grand Prix, edging out Mercedes' George Russell and McLaren's Oscar Piastri by 0.060 seconds and 0.180 seconds, respectively in Qualifying session. The 30-year-old won the Italian GP in 2020, his only GP victory of his career. Meanwhile, Italian GP 2025 winner Max Verstappen finished sixth in the race.
