The Delhi government has reduced the Value Added Tax (VAT) on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) from 25% to 7%. The officials from the Chief Minister's office said that the reduction in VAT is expected to lower airfares for passengers and reduce operational costs for the airlines. This comes after Maharashtra reduced the VAT on ATF from 18% to 7%.
