Messi retires from international football

Argentina football team captain Lionel Messi on Monday announced his retirement from international football. "It is a decision that hurt and still hurts deep down but I understand that the time has come...I've given everything I had...I have nothing left to give," he wrote on Instagram. Messi scored 125 goals in 207 matches for Argentina.
