Reports claimed on Wednesday that BJP and Congress have allied for Ambernath Municipal Council polls to defeat Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde, which is an ally of BJP. Dismissing the reports, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said if local BJP leaders have done so, strict action will be taken. "The BJP can never ally with Congress or AIMIM," he added.
