Residents from US' Mississippi have filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk-owned xAI and SpaceX over "omnipresent and inescapable" noise from their data centres. The lawsuit, representing over 10,000 members, seeks damages for alleged emotional distress, reduced property value and other harms. Residents claim that the firms failed to curb the disturbance and created a public nuisance through the noise.
