Following Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s acquittal in sexual harassment case by a Delhi court, wrestler-politician Vinesh Phogat said, "We have not lost hope and the wrestlers will continue their fight." She alleged that the "government and the system" had worked to protect him from the beginning. Vinesh added the women wrestlers have instructed their lawyers to appeal against the verdict.
