Chinese AI startup DeepSeek's CEO Liang Wenfeng said US restrictions on NVIDIA chip exports to China are fuelling Beijing's AI chip development efforts. "When NVIDIA cards can't be bought, everyone is forced...to do domestic chips...NVIDIA is digging its own grave," Wenfeng said. He added that DeepSeek is working closely with Huawei to develop advanced AI chips.
