World number two and six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek lost in straight sets to fifth seed Elena Rybakina in Australian Open quarter-finals. Rybakina won the match with a scoreline of 7-5, 6-1. Rybakina scored 11 aces and 26 winners as she ended Swiatek's career Grand Slam bid on Rod Laver Arena, winning eight of the last nine games.
