SBI credit card to charge 1% fee on fuel, transport spends from Dec 1

SBI credit card will introduce a 1% fee on certain high-value fuel and transportation transactions from December 1, 2026, once specified spending limits are crossed. It will charge a 1% fee on every transportation transaction exceeding ₹30,000. Fuel spending exceeding ₹50,000 in a billing cycle will attract a 1% fee on the entire amount, not just the excess.
