Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan on Wednesday said government approval was required for Adani Ports' stake sale in Vizhinjam Port to MSC Group. He further added that the government had not received any formal communications about the share transfer. Adani Ports on Tuesday announced it would sell a 49% stake in the Vizhinjam Port to MSC for about $1.4 billion.
