A suspected US-made World War II-era unexploded 'AN-M64' bomb was recovered from the bank of the Subarnarekha River in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, following which the police said it'd seek assistance from the Indian Army to defuse the bomb. Multiple reports claimed the bomb weighed around 225 kg. It was unearthed during sand excavation along the Panipada-Nagudsai stretch.
