UP police fires 1 shot & an accused is hit on knee, no policeman gets hurt in encounter: HC

The Allahabad High Court ordered CBI probe into police encounter of a rape accused who was shot in both legs in May last year. "The police fires one shot and it hits the accused on his knee or below it," it stated, adding not "even a pellet touches even uniform of any police personnel and all of them escape unhurt".
