India-EU Free Trade Agreement, also called "mother of all deals", took 20 years and about 30 rounds of discussions to finalise. The idea took root in October 2006, with formal negotiations launching in June 2007, which were suspended in 2013 after 15 discussion rounds. Discussions were resumed in 2022, and the negotiations were concluded on Tuesday after 14 discussion rounds.
