People living closer to nuclear power plants have higher rates of cancer deaths, a study conducted in US has claimed. The study examined cancer death data from 2000 to 2018, stating that the highest cancer deaths were observed among females aged 55-64 and males aged 65-74. However, the researchers stated it doesn't prove that nuclear power plants cause cancer.
