A youth named Asad allegedly killed 17-year-old Surya on BakrId in UP's Ghaziabad. Police said they received a tip-off that Asad, who was absconding, would be meeting his friends as he planned to escape after taking money from them. When Asad arrived, police tried to stop him, but he allegedly opened fire on them before being killed in retaliatory fire.
