Dashboard launched to track stubble burning across states

iFOREST has launched Fire Watch, a multi-satellite dashboard tracking crop residue burning across Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. It monitors active fire locations, peak burning hours, and total area affected each season. CEO Dr Chandra Bhushan said current polar-orbiting satellite data gives an incomplete picture, and the new tool aims to enable more effective policy interventions.
