Microsoft takes down 'EvilTokens' platform that hacked 12,000 accounts

Microsoft has dismantled EvilTokens, a subscription-based cybercrime platform that compromised more than 12,000 accounts. Operating through Telegram for a $1,500 fee, the service exploited Microsoft's device-code authentication system. The platform used AI to identify high-value targets and generate tailored impersonation messages to help cybercriminals carry out financial fraud.
