Zomato is planning to allot 18.2 crore shares to its employees under a new ESOP (employee stock option plan). In an exchange filing, Zomato said the fresh ESOP is subject to shareholders' approval. At the current share price, the shares will be worth around ₹3,500 crore. "ESOPs are important to...create 'founder mindset' amongst senior employees," CFO Akshant Goyal said.
