Releasing the BJP manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in J&K, Home Minister Amit Shah ruled out the restoration of Article 370. The provision which granted J&K a special status, has now "become history" and will never return, he said. Notably, the National Conference, contesting the elections in alliance with Congress, has promised restoration of Article 370 in its manifesto.
