Two of the six convicts in the 2017 Kerala actress assault case have challenged their conviction and 20-year prison sentence. The convicts, identified as Pradeep and Saleem H, have also sought suspension of their sentences during the pendency of their appeals. The hearing in this matter is scheduled for February 4, 2026.
