A lot of heroin is missing from seizure records in India. The Delhi High Court asked Ministry of Home Affairs to clarify a plea that alleges a mismatch between data from the National Crime Records Bureau and MHA. The value of the mismatch: 70,772.48 kg of heroin worth Rs.5 lakh crore! This pertains to seizures between 2018-2020.
