Maha school cooks meals for 1,500 kids daily in LPG-free kitchen

A school in Maharashtra's Akola runs its kitchen, cooking for nearly 1,500 students daily, without using LPG cylinders. Instead of using traditional gas burners, the school uses a thermic fluid heating system, without producing any direct flame. The system installed nearly a decade ago is powered by biomass-based fuel pellets produced from agricultural waste.
