US Department of Agriculture has suspended 1890 Scholars Program, which provides full tuition for students from underprivileged backgrounds attending historically Black colleges. The scholarship helped recipients study agriculture, food or natural resource sciences and was put on hold "pending further review". This move follows funding freeze imposed by US President Donald Trump's administration.
