India is in talks with Iran over the future management of Chabahar Port as it awaits sanctions relief from US, ET reported. India is negotiating to keep the port under an alternative management agreement, with a provision that operational rights would revert to India once US lifts its sanctions. The US sanctions waiver had expired on April 26.
