Government employees found holding illegal BPL cards in Karnataka's Dharwad are being searched and fined. The HRMS data revealed there are 324 such employees, of which 24 have already been fined and a total fine of ₹7,08,000 has been collected. While the remaining 300 are yet to pay the fine, all such employees' cards have been cancelled to avoid misuse.
